Reviewing another product from the Born Pretty Store. This time it's the Striping Tape you can find here in a pack of 12 different colors for $6.29. I've recently seen a lot of new nail art looks that are featuring striping tape, so I was excited to try it myself. I wanted to recreate this look in particular. Her's was much neater and better photographed, but this isn't a contest, right? Enjoy.I used the gold striping tape from Born Pretty....

Spoiled - Uh, As If!
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
I got a few of these Spoiled polishes because who can pass up a sale for 99 cent polish? Not this girl. This is a great BRIGHT pink with gold shimmer. This is 2 easy coats. I really like that the shimmer is still visible in real life. :) In some of my pics it shows more silver, but I promise you, it's gold. Then I did a subtle glitter gradient using Essie Luxeffects As Gold As It Get...

Finally Back
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
After what seems like FOREVER... I finally have internet at my new house. It was briefly hooked up when posted on 5/22/12 about my new polish room, and then they came to bury the phone line outside the next day. It killed it. I've argued with my phone company ever since that they messed something up, but just got through their thick skulls today. So finally it's fixed and all is good in the world again. My nails are still in slightly pitiful...

New Polish Room
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown

So I've been away because I recently moved. Now that things have settled down a bit, I should be able to get back into my routine. Before I start any nail art, I have to show you my new polish room. I had limited control over what I could do at my apartment, I wasn't allowed to paint, and if I bought new furniture pieces I would have had to lug it up a flight of stairs myself. Well at my new house I wanted to do it up and do it right! And it...

Pardon the interruption
Posted on 12:55 by Unknown
I just want to apologize for the interruption in your regularly scheduled programming. ;)I recently moved! I was without internet for 5 days, and now it's hooked up but I'm so pushed to get everything done and unpacked, blogging has taken a back burner. My nails are in pretty pitiful shape anyhow from all of the trauma. I'm still painting, but on a much larger scale. The walls! Things should settle down this next week and I can get back on board. Just hold tight until then! Thanks everyone!Les...

Jelly Glitter Sandwiches
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
I don't have many jelly finish polishes in my stash. I like that they look all squishy and juicy, but I feel like they NEVER dry! Even if I use a quick dry top coat, they always get dinged up and ruined.I recently showed you Sation Sheer Legs, which is in fact, Sheer! And I picked up a mini OPI Do You Think I'm Tex-y which is a jelly. So here are some jelly sandwiches! This is 3 coats of Sation Sheer Legs topped with a coat of WnW Party of 5 Glitters...

31 Day Challenge - Day 25 - Inspired by Fashion
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
What better cartoon fashion than Cinderella's Glass Slipper? I had no choice but to use Sinful Colors Cinderella and Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Glass Slipper! I used Color Club Starry Temptress Topcoat and China Glaze Fairy Dust for my little glitter swirls on the other nails. Here is a gif tutorial of how I painted the thumb nail. And some pictures of Cinderella before the nail art, just because....Disney Princess Cinderella Night-Light...

HITS Mari Moon - Dreamer
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
I tried my best to capture all of the different shades that flash, but it was soooo hard. I actually managed to get the best picture using my iPhone while at work the next day, but I've since accidentally deleted it. O.o Just trust me, it's pretty. :)Check out these amazing Brazilian brands if you get the chan...
