Today we have Ursula from The Little Mermaid! Such a wicked villain, but a gorgeous purple. ;)I've done The Little Mermaid before on false nails, and then I've also done an Ariel inspired french tip design. So be sure to check those out.I started with 2 coats of China Glaze Spontaneous I did all the details of Ursula's face with acrylic paints. Then I started adding the tentacles to the other nails. This is Zoya Kieko. Then Deborah Lippmann Between...

Deborah Lippmann - Girls Just Want To Have Fun
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
Another Lippmann for you this morning! The website describes this as a carefree coral creme. I'm a big fan of coral and this didn't disappoint. In some lights it tends to take on more of an orange color, but these pics are pretty color accurate. 2 coats on a swatch stickI also bought Lippmann - Lara's Theme, which is a bright orange. Lara's Theme is on the right compared next to Girls Just Want To Have Fun on the left.3 coats because of my impatient...

Princess Toes
Posted on 13:00 by Unknown
It's been a while since I posted any pedicure pics, so here you go. I've not been keeping them as pretty as my fingernails, so they haven't been photo-worthy. Here is Deborah Lippmann Between The Sheets with 2 coats of Nail-Venturous A Dash of Princess on top. I'm in love with these big white hex glitters....
31 Day Challenge - Day 5 - Blue
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
For the challenge of a blue cartoon character, I went with Genie from Aladdin. I have painted him before on a false nail seen here, but he ended up looking a little crazy (in an evil way). So I'm more pleased this time around. :)I started with a base of China Glaze Bahamian Escape. 2 coats. Acrylic paint for Genie's face. I added China Glaze 2030 as french tips to my other nails. I thought it worked well to represent his wrist cuff/bracelets. A close-up...

Deborah Lippmann - I Know What Boys Like
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
I'm now the proud owner of Deborah Lippmann polishes! I recently bought 6, so I will progressively work my way through them and show them off. First up and ready is I Know What Boys Like. It's described as a "playful periwinkle" on the Lippmann website. I find it is just a smidge lighter/dustier than a royal blue.I LOVE these square bottles. (They stay so straight and organized looking!) It makes me want to go out and buy the new NYX polishes that...

Milani Jewel FX - Fuchsia
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
Milani recently released some new glitters in the Jewel FX line. Check your store's regular display. That's where I found these. They didn't set them out on a special display. So far I've worn this one. It was a pretty awesome glitter bomb. This is 2 coats over Essence Dress To Party. This is 2 coats on a swatch stick so you can see how opaque it is. Not quite on it's own unless you're willing to apply 4-5 thick glitter coats. The good news is that...

Shimmery Bows
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
I was wearing a blue shirt that has girly ruffles going down the front. So I wanted my nails to reflect the same girly-ness without being too matchy matchy. So this is what I ended up with.I started with Essie Coat Azure - 2 coats. This is one of my top favorite blues ever. :)Then I stamped the bow images from Konad m59 and m56 on my accent nails. I used Konad Special White polish.I decided that they weren't quite shimmery enough, so I added one...

Sinful Colors - Cinderella
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
You might have heard of this polish as it has quickly become a hot commodity. It is a very beautiful light blue polish with pink glass flecks. I found this bottle all by itself at my Walgreens. There is a slot for Cinderella in their regular display, but it was empty with this tucked in the wrong spot. This swatch is 3 thin coats. It was difficult to capture the pink flecks with my camera, but don't worry! They are very visible in real life....

31 Day Challenge - Day 4 - Green
Posted on 04:00 by Unknown
I loved the Rugrats when I was growing up and I've already done a nail art tutorial of them HERE. But I decided to feature Reptar for my green challenge. Reptar was a godzilla creature featured a lot through the Rugrats series as a popular movie character/toy. Despite his fierce look, he was often depicted as a hero. :)I started with SPAritual - Eye of the Beholder and OPI Alpine SnowThen acrylic paints for all of Reptar's face. Here I...
