I was contacted by the cutest CEO ever. Veronica is only 13 and has already pursued her dreams. She's started this company with the assistance of her parents and it's just getting off the ground. She is selling water marble nail kits for girls her age -- to make the process as simple and convenient as possible. It includes everything you need to be able to water marble, with detailed instructions on how to do it.
"That's Cray" is the first kit, it can be purchased HERE for $22.50.
It came packaged so adorably!
Everything was protected very well with bubble wrap and tissue around the polishes, and padding of pink paper filler.
Her instructions are very well written and laid out to make it understandable.
The kit includes a plastic water marble jar with a screw on top.
Some toothpicks and q-tips and a roll of tape.
My "bonus goodie" must be the yellow bouncy ball. (My cat has really enjoyed playing with it. Lol)
The base coat is from Nabi and the clear topcoat is from KleanColor.
The three color polishes are all from Nabi.
(Ace, Baby Blue, & Velvet I )
The first 2 are creme finishes, the last is a metallic.
Here are my water marbling results. I'm not the most experienced with marbling, and to me the results aren't worth all the trouble it takes.
The kit itself is great in that it does have everything you need to get started with water marbling. The plastic jar is a great size. The tape works great for masking off the skin around your nails. The colored polishes spread easily in the water so they work well. I wouldn't necessarily have grouped these 3 colors together though. It's just not my personal tastes. I don't feel like they go that well together.
You can see some bubbles that affected the pattern. The topcoat applied easily enough and didn't drag the patterns. It didn't dry particularly fast though.
Close ups of each nail so you can see just how bad I am at water marbling.
Overall, I think the kit is a great idea. It includes everything you need. The packaging is ADORABLE. I feel like the price is a little steep. I would consider the overall value of everything to be more in the range between $15-$20.
Thanks for sending this to me to review Veronica!
