This is a nail art look I did quickly to show it off.

It's a beautiful blend of blue, periwinkle, lilac, and red? pink?

I don't know exactly, it's just 1000 degrees of awesome.

I painted 2 coats of China Glaze Agent Lavender, let it dry.

I taped off my tips and sponged on Shimmer Leslie. My ring finger is just 1 coat of Shimmer Leslie over Agent Lavender.

 Then I used a Kiss Nail Art Striper in black to outline and doodle the heart.

Here is 2 coats of Shimmer Leslie with no underwear. Lol. And by underwear I mean a base layer of another nail polish. I, Leslie, was in fact wearing literal underwear.

Owl Mug

I have a ginormous mug that I absolutely adore. It's great for a big cup of coffee, soup, or even ice cream. :) It's got a really adorable owl pattern all over it, so I tried my best to replicate some on my nails.

 I used a base of white nail polish and then different shades of acrylic paint.

FYI: I live in an area that will most likely be affected by Hurricane Issac, so I'm trying to schedule enough posts in advance to cover any time I might be without electricity. I should be fine though, we'll just get a lot of rain and wind. Talk to you soon!

Revlon - Sparkle Aplenty

This is a new fall shade from Revlon. I found a fully stocked display at Walgreens last week. I thought it was unique enough to be added to my collection. :) A friend of mine pointed out that it is quite similar to Nail Venturous Voodoo Doll, but a "poor man's version." I much prefer the larger glitter pieces in Voodoo Doll, but this is more available and affordable.

This is 2 coats. The glitter applies evenly without having to place them. The charcoal/black base is just sheer enough that you can see glitter from underneath layers, but it's opaque enough to cover in 2 coats.

Biker Chic

These are completely and utterly out of my comfort zone. I love cutesy and bright colors, but this manicure is edgy and fierce. Check it out.

This is 2 coats of China Glaze Electrify from the Hunger Games collection. I then stamped with Konad Special Black and the flames are from MASH48 and the skull is from BM211.

Another Bright Leopard

A similar look to yesterday's, but here I made 2 accent nails.

I used the same colors too. Wet N Wild Fashionista Lisa, Color Club Wicked Sweet, and Wet N Wild Nerd Alert: Screech. Same stamping of Konad Special Black and Mash 40.

For my right hand I just switched out which colors were the accent nails.

I'm so very happy with how this turned out! I just love it!

Rainbow Leopard

A neon rainbow gradient topped with leopard print! 

I used a lot of shades from the Wet N Wild Saved by the Nail collection. I first painted white and let it dry. Then I did each nail's gradient until the color was saturated enough. I then stamped using Konad Special Black and Mash 40 image plate.

Prior to the stamping so you can best see the gradient.

From pinky to thumb the colors are:

WnW Fashionista Lisa, Color Club Wicked Sweet, WnW Nerd Alert: Screech, WnW Pin 'Em Slater, WnW Straight A Jesse, WnW Pom Pom Kelly.

I got some random black fuzz and a cat hair in my gradient....

Oh well, I was planning on stamping with black so no stress!

Typical Teal

I've been heavy handed with the teal manicures lately..... I just can't resist using teal. Deal with it :)

I did a sponged gradient with China Glaze For Audrey and Silky Polish Twill Sea. Then I stamped using China Glaze 2030 and Mash 38.

Neon Citrus

I used the neon orange and yellow from the Wet N Wild Saved By The Nail Collection. Pin 'Em Slater & Straight A Jesse. Then I stamped the 2 citrus images from BM 308 using Konad Special Black Polish.

This is the gradient prior to the stamping. I just painted 2 coats of white polish and then used a makeup sponge to blend the two colors on top of the white.

Wet N Wild - Saved by the Nail Collection

A collection inspired by Saved by the Bell?! Yes please! I LOVED this show growing up and have seen every episode, literally 10 times. So I was really bummed out when I couldn't find this collection in my town. :( Thankfully my friend Lori hooked me up! Hooray!

Fashionista Lisa

Neon purple! This is 2 coats. It covers well and doesn't really need to be layered over white. 

Straight A Jesse

This is 3 thin coats. It builds up to opacity on it's own without needing to be layered over white.

Here on my thumb I layered 2 coats over white polish. Just to show you that it does brighten the color a bit for a neon punch in the face.

Nerd Alert: Screech

Neon lime green with yellow shimmer. This is 2 coats, but it probably could have used another coat to minimize the visible nail line.

Pom Pom Kelly

Neon hot pink. My pictures are a little warmer coral than the polish is in real life. It's truly a hot pink.

Pin 'Em Slater

Highlighter neon yellow. This is 2 coats layered over white polish.

I layered 3 coats of Slater alone on my thumb here to show you it still has visible nail line.

It's so ridiculously bright. I love it! I'm currently sporting this on my toes.

Chick Magnet Zack

Bright teal with shimmer. This one leans a little more green than my pictures convey.

It is bright, but not quite neon in my opinion.

What do you think? Are there any that you just have to have? If so, search high and low because they are limited edition. See if you can get a friend across the country to find them if you can't. :)
